Tasmania’s primary industries are the engine room of our economy and salmonid (Atlantic salmon and Ocean trout) aquaculture has the potential to significantly power our state’s economic growth. As the global supply of seafood from wild fisheries is limited, salmon aquaculture has the opportunity to meet this growing world demand through increased production.
